Today, the Malteser Relief Service at the food distribution points – Bus Station, Railway Station, Shehyni and Krakovets checkpoints has distributed:
- 300 liters of hot soup
- 350 liters of hot tea and coffee
- 2250 sandwichs
- 100 sublimate packages
- 120 plaids
- Hygiene products
About 900 sets of disposable utensils and 1,500 units of utensils for hot drinks were used at the food court.
In addition, 4 food kits were distributed to elderly in need, who turned to us for help.
Fruits (grapes, tangerines, kiwis), lettuce, oil, canned beans, sugar, hard cheese, hygiene products, granola, milk were delivered to 35 displaced children from the boarding school from Bila Tserkva district.
We also donated 300 units of dry baby food to Kharkiv.
First Medical Aid at the Krakivets checkpoint
Due to the difficult situation at the Krakivets checkpoint, rescuers from the Malteser Relief Service are working. Thousands of people stand in line to cross the border, including children, the elderly. People are in a state of stress and panic, afraid to leave the queue. MRS rescuers provide First Medical Aid for children with symptoms of SARS, the elderly who have problems with blood pressure and anyone who needs any help. After the initial inspection, if necessary, refer to ambulances.
