Today was a busy day at the Malteser Relief Service. We accepted the truck of humanitarian aid, at once sent the car of help to Nikolaev, with foodstuff, medicines, hygiene and baby food.
Another car went to Ivano-Frankivsk to an animal shelter. There are now almost 400 animals, and 30 new dogs have appeared in the shelter during the war. 150 kg of dry food, 15 cans of wet food, 3 boxes of dog treats and 9 boxes of cat food went to the shelter. The organisation also supports shelters in cities where hostilities are taking place.
MRS volunteers were present at the permanent food distribution points – train station, bus station, Skrynia shopping mall, Krakivets checkpoint and distributed:
- 300 liters of hot soup
- 135 liters of hot water
- 60 liters of tea
- 100 servings of sublimate
- 2090 sandwichs
Today, 25 liters of hot soup and 30 loaves of bread were delivered to the Halychyna Rehabilitation Center. In addition, they helped with the products of the field kitchen at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint. Sent flour, oil, sugar, pasta, canned fish, rice and a MRS thermos.
