Children will spend 10 days actively on a ranch in a cozy village near Lviv. Accommodation in a comfortable camp, three meals a day, and a rich program for displaced children will be free of charge.
“Today we take care of several shelters for IDPs. Therefore, we understand both parents and children have a great need to reboot and gain strength. That is why the idea of the summer camp was born. We want these children to feel a happy childhood and spend a joyful summer. To do this, we created a space where children will communicate with their peers, explore the world, learn new things, and have fun. We plan that 150 children will visit the camp during this summer,” explains Pavlo Titko, the head of the Malteser Relief Service.
Now the arrangement of the camp is being completed. The professional team has developed a rich leisure program. “Children will spend 10 days of their summer with us in nature and will be able to reboot and plunge into the world of adventure. Every day we will devote ourselves to certain phenomena: emotions, qualities, values, and virtues. There will be many artistic activities, modeling, drawing, various sports, quests, as well as planned trips,” – the camp coordinator Ivan Bordun says.
The first shift will begin in mid-June, in total, 5 sessions are planned. You can register for the camp here.
