The 32nd International Hospitallers’ Conference
The 32nd International Hospitallers’ Conference took place in Cologne, bringing together over 100 representatives of national associations and organizations of the Order of Malta. The discussions focused on community resilience, the spiritual foundations of service, and the ability to respond quickly and in a coordinated manner to emergencies.
«Freedom is not a comfort zone. It requires courage, responsibility, and readiness to act. Values matter — but without concrete steps, they can remain only words».
Special attention was given to regions where assistance is most needed. Ukraine continues to remain among the priorities of the Order’s activities.
«Ukrainians are not fighting because they want war, but because they know what it means not to wage it. That is why supporting Ukraine is not only an act of neighbourly love, but also an act of self-defence for Europe. Negotiations will take place. But they must be conducted from a position of strength – with robust security guarantees», — noted H. E. Dr. Bruno Kahl during an analysis of the current situation in Europe and the world, particularly in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Malteser Relief Service in Ukraine sincerely thanks all partners, donors, and volunteers for their continued support. Thanks to you, we can work steadily, respond quickly to challenges, and support people not only in overcoming difficulties but also in continuing to live and make plans for the future.

H. E. Dr. Bruno Kahl (Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Germany) and Pavlo Titko (CEO of Malteser Relief Service of Ukraine)
